I have two amazing dogs but they weren't always the "perfect" dogs...
One is a Border Collie cross named Maynard and the other is a purebred Cocker Spaniel named Moki. Maynard is a humane society dog that we fell in love with. He is the smartest dog I have ever known but boy did we think he was (for lack of a better word) a stupid puppy. He ate everything from furniture to floors and carpet to plants and of course even the shoes. We had to completely replace the linoleum in our rental apartment at one time. We honestly believed that he had the dog version of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. We hated taking him on walks due to the running and constant pulling.
On the flip side Moki (the Cocker Spaniel) is more easy going and listens very well. She never got into things or pulled on the leash but we just couldn't house train her. We tried everything to house train her and nothing seemed to work.
We tried various training methods from simply winging it to hiring a professional trainer. It wasn't until we purchased a guide for training a dog, "Dove Cresswell's Dog Training Online", that we were able to gain control as the alpha dog and get the dogs to listen and respect us. We now fully enjoy our dogs and the love and loyalty and companionship we have. There are no more problems from either one of them. We just get to have fun with the dogs all the time.
This video set was developed by Dove Cresswell. She is a professional hollywood north dog trainer. Her approach is very humane. It is also easy to follow and fun due to enjoying step-by-step videos she produced. Her techniques began producing results within the first couple of sessions. Yes - within the first couple of sessions! I highly recommend "Dove Cresswell's Dog Training Online" to all my friends and family and to you as well. This guide for training a dog has helped us in so many ways and made it so that everyone in the house now loves the dogs.
